I have a passion for graphic design. Using Adobe Creative Suites—Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign—I've gained patience, persistence, and creativity while learning programming and collaboration skills.

In this graduate-level course at the University of Mississippi, I gained theoretical and hands-on expertise in visual communication methods. The highlight was a branding project where students designed a company and product. My creation, Rouge—a lipstick brand, came to life using Cinema 4D and Adobe Creative Suites.
Design Strategy
When approaching the design of my branding and collateral project, I wanted to create a classy yet fun lipstick brand. It was important to me to emphasize that Rouge is a daring lipstick brand that strives for boldness, beauty, and passion, but not with excessive luxury prices. Our intended audience is women in all parts of life, primarily in their twenties, to encourage self-empowerment and inclusivity.
Distinctive Branding
With so many makeup and lipstick brands, distinctive branding is essential. Using bold branding colors of red, black, and gold combined with Alkaline, a strong but youthful font is practical and eye-catching in drawing in a consumer. The use of reflective gold, small black details, and the individual shade color combined with embossed text and a structurally textured tube is eye-catching and practical to consumers.
Logo
In my logo, I incorporated lipstick into the wordmark to clearly show what Rouge offers as a brand. The lipstick is subtle enough not to overpower the wordmark but convey a clear message to the audience. Rouge’s branding colors are bold and inclusive, just like the company! The use of red, black, and gold emphasizes the beauty, passion, strength, and confidence that comes from consumers.

The Center for Student Activities at Mississippi State University is the hub for student organizations and events, and Mississippi State is proud to be home to more than 425 student organizations! All of my campus involvements including New Maroon Camp and the Student Association has lead me to become the CSA Marketing Intern. This means I have been creating graphics for CSA for four years! I would not be where I am today without them.

Mississippi State University's New Maroon Camp is a week-long student-led retreat that prepares first-year students for the transition to Mississippi State University. I served on the Executive Team as the Multimedia Coordinator from 2020-2021 as we welcomed a record-breaking 1,400 students to MSU during COVID-19. I created all creative materials including but not limited to sponsorship packets, graphics, banners, photography, videography, and merchandise etc. necessary.
During Fall 2021, I had the honor of being the Creative Director for Smith Lyon's Mississippi State University Homecoming King Campaign. Our team worked together to help Lyon win the title of Homecoming King.
The Mississippi State University Student Association is the largest student organization at MSU. The SA serves as the governing body and voice for the students as it provides a place where students may express themselves effectively to better student life. From 2020 through 2021, I served on the Cabinet Branch as the Graphic Design Director within the Marketing Team. I had the opportunity to truly learn the foundations of graphic design.
